Hi,

My name is Karen Bass, CVT. Owner and founder of Bass Pet. Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself and tell you a little about the motivations behind my company. I’m a proud mom & granny to a remarkable adult son and 3 amazing grandchildren. I share my life with 3 silly dogs, 2 cool kitties, and an array of groovy fish. 

I'm a nationally certified veterinary technician with many years experience in the care and maintenance of domestic animals. The majority of my career has been in service to the health of People & Pets. 

I’ve always had a soft spot for most all critters. I spent many years working in the pet care industry, in one capacity or another. In 2012 I decided to go back to school and get a degree in veterinary technology. I continued to work in clinics and shelters for quite some time. 

Although I felt it time to retire from clinic/shelter medicine, I could not retire from my passion for animals and helping the pet parents that love them. 

This is where Bass Pet comes in. We provide quality, safe & loving Pet Sitting services to fit most needs. 

Although we adore and care for healthy, youthful pets; We specialize in delivering our exceptional care to Senior and special needs pets. Those pets requiring medications & other medical care.
